September 2011, the extra-ordinary definitory of the Order begins in the Holy Land.

August 28 - September 02, 2011.

By God's grace, on August 06, 2011 Br. Michael Adu ocd will be raised to the Order of Deacons while Revs. Ambrose Ekeroku ocd, Gabriel Ihunnia ocd, Walter Ayogu ocd and Joseph Odiahi ocd will be raised to the Priestly state.

To be Ordained also are Felix Okolo ocd and Augustine Onwugboluzo ocd.

July 10, 2011 some of our students in our community in Ibadan will be recieving the ministries of lector, while some others will receive that of Acoltye.

The Vicariate eagerly await the return of Frs. Thaddeus Dim ocd and Cyril Udom ocd from Rome. These have been away on further studies in Italy.

July 07, 2011 these friars are expected back in the country to the warm embrace of family and friends. We are very grateful to our communities and friars in Rome, and indeed, all those who helped to make their stay in Italy a success.

On June 22, 2011 Brs. Christian Odoh ocd and Charles Oyebade ocd ofour students' community in Ibadan will be heading going to Italy in pursuance of their studies in Theology.

Our prayers are continually with them.

Come, June 20 this year, our Vicariate will have the pleasure of opening its second novitiate program.

Second Novitiate is a time of intense reflection and prayer lasting for aperiod of three months. This is usually in preparation for final profession of vows (final committment to God, the Church and the Order).

This year, three candidates - Brs. Desmond Okolo ocd, Paulinus Nwaka ocd and Kenechi Ezenwa ocd - are being considered for this program.
